Three of a Kind

It’s been a long and busy day around the homestead as Steve finished the shed reno late this afternoon. We are so pleased with his work and the final result. It looks like a brand new building, which it isn’t, but at least it’s preserved and any openings are now sealed. Mice and other little critters will need to find new winter homes • Now we wait. Wait for two very important details to be finished. Once installed I will blip before and after photos. The difference will be astonishing! • The three of us sat outside and chatted for over an hour before Steve left for home. I was surprised by the number of dragonflies zooming in and around the area we were seated. It must have been feeding time. A cricket chirped in the background as the sky dimmed after a very hot and humid day • Crickets signal summer’s end and cooler temperatures, both appealing at this point. Amazing that three of our pumpkins are ripening. Surely, another sign that Fall is lurking :)
