Branching Out
Busy day today so didn't manage to set aside any blip time.
Away to the builders merchant in the morning to collect some timber for my in-laws. Tried to catch a shot of some of the birds that regularly visit their garden but, as ever, camera comes out and the birds do a runner. Never mind had a nice cup of coffee and a good blether with them. Apparently they have a Pheasant that has been visiting the garden regularly but it didn't show up. Maybe another day.
Packed up and headed home, Mrs F was helping N do a spot of spring cleaning so as it was a nice day I decided to get the lawns cut and tidied up. Front lawn was looking not too bad but the back was full of dead grass and moss so out with the electric rake, filled a bin with the stuff that came out of it.
And then we got ready for the camera club annual dinner and presentation of trophies. Lucky me I managed to win the monthly prints competition this year so a nice shiny trophy for the cabinet. We all had a good time with all the usual banter and a fun quiz at the end of the night. A minutes silence was observed at the beginning of the evening to mark the passing of a club member who was laid to rest on Friday.
Well that's it for today and I hope to start branching out over the coming weeks to try and look for some different images.
