Cut Flowers

I don't usually bother to bring bouquets inside, preferring to just watch the flowers as they change on their stems. But the 20 foot tall sunflower outside the back window is too heavy for itself, and branches are cracking and falling into the vegetables. These wonderful twisty stems come from the stalks that have grown sideways and needed to be trimmed.
