Tiling the bathroom

Spent today tiling the bathroom at Manchester.

Note the small glass dark tile (in a previous) Blip is now running top to bottom where the bath/shower fittings are. Adds a bit of interest.

The tiles are interesting, 24"x12" and are all rejects. But they cost around 99c per square foot and it's difficult to spot exactly why they are rejected $3-4 tiles. Tiny blemishes on the surface that really aren't that easy to spot. But hey, works for me.

Managed about 2/3rds of the bathroom today but I'll have it finished on Monday now. Then we can get it grouted, floor installed and new bog and basin put in. And finally we'll call the tub refinisher in. The tub then gets stripped to it's original base, any problems (eg a bit of rust) gets fixed and then a new enamel coat added. End result is a brilliant white new looking tub. Pity it still leans though ;)
