Marigolds

The flower bench, that I made last autumn, is looking quite nice now. It has been qute all summer, but better now as marigolds have grown. The front yard  looked like this as the huge maple had been cut down. And This was the beginning of the bench... I used old sauna stones as decorations here.

There is also two perennials. I do not know the name of the yellow one, but the light pink is Saponaria officinalis. It has been used as soap and medicine in historical times. Even already in neanderdal human times.

No maple or any other tree is planted yet. I was thinking about Japan Magnolia (Magnolia kobus), but at the time there only is plenty of white clover (Trifolium repens) for bees now. A pic in the extra.

+24c partly cloudy, rain and thundering coming in the evening. Soft and warm like in mediterranean area sometimes.
