My birthday! Had a very welcome lie in then opened some presents.

Matt had to work so my plan was to see Dajon… who now has Covid. Instead I took myself shopping for the day. I didn’t spend as much money as I could have but got some nice things. Stopped for a brownie and an iced coffee too.

We went to Root for dinner in the evening, via a very quick pint in Wild Beer. Absolutely smashing food as usual, my fave was either the ewes curd dumplings or the tempura spring onions with chilli jam. Deeeeelish.
