DUCHESS A SPECIAL PEREGINE FALCON

I took Matthew to the Taunton Flower  Show today (Friday) and we watched an amazing demonstration from a young man called Jonathon Marshall.

He rode a beautiful horse called Amadeus who was just like the black horses in the Lloyds Bank adverts.  Whilst on horseback he was demonstrating the agility of three different Falcons all hand reared by  himself.

At one point the bird flew through the horses legs an of course that takes great skill from the horse and the bird.

It was a very hot day so we had to keep stopping and drinking but he enjoyed it.  Shame the eateries were charging rip of amounts.  Fish and chips was a whopping £14.00.  Needless to say we didn't partake and settled for a portion of chips between us at £4.00!!

Later a pasty at £5.00, another rip off.

So after driving back from Matthew's home I was exhausted and had a nap before cooking our evening meal.  A light salad for me.

Another lovely hot day, we shouldn't complain although keeping the plants alive is getting difficult.
