Bee Approval....

Another warm and sunny day - yawn!!

It's the local horticultural society open day today so I took a wander to their hut hub this morning where I failed to win anything on the tombola, enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with a slice of yummy coffee cake and made some plant purchases!  I know you're shocked too!!  And planting them up in a pot on my return, I hadn't even finished when this bee moved in to enjoy the lavender so that's all the approval I needed to know I'd done the right thing in adding a new plant or two!!

Afternoon has been spent in the shade reading - The Eighth Girl by Maxine Mei-Fung Chung - and it's football season time again! Time to be disappointed by Southend United once more!!
