The River Granta

We chose a shady walk this morning as 12 year old Jess slows down considerably in the heat.  She still loves the water and would happily throw herself in - we just worry about her being able to get out again when the river is low, so we don't encourage it.  

Pocket Park is looking lush but we didn't cross the river today as the nettles over there are person-height and we had shorts on...
