Crash!!!

The youngest was given a belated birthday present of a toy plane yesterday. It's gone down a treat and he's loved playing with it most of the day.  We played an after dinner game of frisbee (loved by the eldest) and planes, which got a bit complicated but lots of fun.  

Had a rather civilised afternoon at a neighbours house to celebrate a 65.5th birthday, age range at the party was 6 (the youngest) to a couple in their 90's.  We all had a lovely time and the eldest enjoyed being the waiter for all the adults (which we all enjoyed too!) 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Parties where all ages are invited, it's such a nice, family way of celebrating mile-stones 
Waking up this morning and apparently saying that I couldn't get up yet - and them sleeping for another 2 hours! 
A successful morning working on the dissertation
