Tricks Of The Light

I've noticed that one of the male willow emerald damselflies that I photograph has slight reddish lights in its wings. I first noticed this one evening at sunset and thought that was the cause. Not so. I photographed him this afternoon using a shallow depth of field to accentuate it.

Marla the horse greeted Ollie dog and me this evening, the golden hour rays turning her strawberry roan coat to ginger. Shame about the pesky flies. :(
