Alfreton Town 2 Chester FC 2

Here we go again.

The first league game of the season and Chester went 2-0 up and then conceded twice including a controversial 92nd minute equaliser. It hardly seems as though we have been away. In fairness it was probably a fair result but it was disappointing after our injury hit team had defended so well. It is only 3 months since our last visit here and my blip is pretty much the same as last time taken 30 minutes before kick off..

It was still a tremendous day out on a lovely day. This time Rick and I were joined by Jon and on the way we stopped off in Uttoxeter to visit the Geocaching Mega Event at the racecourse and then do a bit of geocaching. We then called in to the excellent Dead Poet's Inn at Holbrook (see extra) on Jon's advice and followed up with the Holly Bush at Makeney on the way home.
