Neighbourly BBQ

We’ve lived in our house for 22 years and whilst we’re on very friendly terms with our immediate neighbours we don’t tend to socialise together very often. One of our neighbours is moving soon having sold their house to the son of another neighbour so we decided we should have a BBQ to wish them well and say goodbye. After a bit of debate today was the day.

We got set up around 2 and had a lovely 10 hours sitting around drinking our chosen beverage, eating BBQ food and chatting. Phin was really well behaved (he’s pretty much back to normal thankfully) until he got wind of the leftover burgers when he became very attentive!

A lovely way to spend the day, in sunshine and shadow with a little bit of wind.

I tried to take a quick shot of 3 neighbours wrapped up in blankets round the fire pit and this is what I took. Thanks to davidc for keeping the SillySaturday challenge alive in memory of Admirer.
