Fringe taster

MrKT and I cycled in to Edinburgh from Musselburgh - loving all the cycle paths. We stopped in Duddingston below Arthurs Seat and visited the community garden which we had spotted in the Secret Edinburgh book. It was a hive of activity with much gardening and harvesting going on. The garden extend through an orchard right up the side of Arthurs Seat.
Then over to park our bikes in the church yard and had a cuppa in the community cafe, sitting in their lovely garden looked out over Duddingston Loch. Once refreshed we wandered round Dr Neil’s garden and the community allotments - bought some veg freshly picked, and then headed in to town to George Square.
Popped in to see a pal who is managing a food and drink truck in the square - and of course had to have a beer. Sat a while and watched the festival crowds around us - lovely day for it.
And then wobbled back to the car on the bikes - down hill to Musselburgh!
