Calm
Saturday.
About ten minutes before I took this photo, I'd been thrashing up and down the pool, splashing water everywhere and making the surface choppy and rough.
After showering and dressing, I walked past the pool as I was leaving and noted the smooth, almost waxy, surface. It was like I'd never been there.
You could take this as a visual metaphor for life and death, but I prefer to see it as a reminder that no matter how turbulent your life can get, there will be a period of calm to follow, that most of the time, at least, everything will be all right.
Here ends thought for the day :-)
