Stick, stick, stick

Bacon and egg: win.

Sticks. So many sticks.

The day started badly as Ben's iPad had been plugged in all night but for some reason was not charged.  This was concerning, to all involved.  His morning routine is that he wakes early.. or at least earlier than anyone else would like.  On a good day he makes it to 6am but then there are the bad days :-/ Anyway, the rule is that he can read books from 5am and he can have his iPad at 5:45am, then hopefully I can go back to bed until 6:30am.  Today he did sleep until 5:45am but there was no iPad to entertain him :-( Fortunately he was happy to have the treat of coming down to watch the main TV and also once I changed the charger the iPad finally started charging, so hopefully tomorrow will be better!  Other than that, another typical Sunday day, walking to fetch baguette for bacon and egg lunch, over a little brook. We’re very suburban here but if you know where to look you can still make the journey a bit more interesting :-) Bit of down time whilst Mr KCNQ2Haiku and Ben did their lunchtime crossword thing and then some emails and lists for next week.  Ended the day by taking yesterday’s cookies for a walk to the woods and the river, then tea.  We do seem to relate everything to a meal or snack. Or at least.. Ben does!
