Clachan Bridge ……

…. popularly known as ‘The Bridge over the Atlantic’.

A rather miserable day with a damp mist that spoiled some of the wonderful views we might have seen as we spent the morning on Seil Island which lies about 12 miles south of Oban

The island is separated from the mainland by the thinnest of sea channels which is spanned by the elegant 18th century bridge.

The rugged landscape was ideal for sheep which certainly outnumbered the one field of cattle that we saw.
