Took this picture to show Hayley how dry everything is here. Her reaction was “It’s like a foreign country”. Hard to believe that she is just 200 miles up the motorway in Manchester and it’s done nothing but rain since school broke up.

Emmeline has started her project about ‘inspirational women’ and told me all about how Audrey Hepburn wanted to be a ballerina, but she was so malnourished at the end of the war she was told she wasn’t strong enough, and became an actress. Can’t believe a 5 year old is telling me this! I know very precise but made me feel I need to learn more! Silly old Nanny!
