A Small Drink

The weather is gearing up for heat wave number 2 of this summer.  Today was wall-to-wall sun but it is still pleasant to be out.  

Emma and Raffy came round this morning and after a play in the kitchen we decided to go out to the Commandery for a drink, then through to Fort Royal Park for a play on the swings.  As it turned out Raff enjoyed himself at the cafe and by the time we reached the park had fallen asleep.  Still Emma had a chance to walk up the hill to take in the views of Worcester and the Malvern Hills.

Later in the afternoon, once the daily crush at Goodroots had dissipated,  Ann and I popped over for a cold drink, iced latte for her and a small steam beer for me.  Just the ticket for a hot Sunday afternoon.
