Such a joy to reconnect with my buddies from Medway. It's hard to believe that I have revisited there only once between leaving in January and returning today. We walked along the towpath of the now defunct Thames and Medway Canal from Hoo Junction as far as the Ship & Lobster at the very edge of Gravesend, and then back again. 
In the evening, a slightly different selection of group members met at a friend's house for drinks, nibbles and a great deal of laughter.
