Low Cloud in Lakeland
Another Wainwright day. We headed up Red Pike(Buttermere), passed Bleaberry Tarn, then along the ridge to High Stile and High Crag. The blip is taken early in our day looking back towards Crummock Water. I think we made a mistake going over 2000 feet as low cloud obscured the views and we spent much of the day in the rain and the clag, so disappointing not to be rewarded with views from these not insignificant tops, but another 3 ticks is very satisfying. Very grateful for the the reassurance of the OS Maps app up on the ridge today - which helped us stay on track.
The maths may not be completely reliable but we think we have only 26 left to do, although we may well repeat these at a later date to (hopefully) appreciate the views
