Sundial at The Outlet Track
Nine hardy members of the walking group met at the lake, then drove to The Outlet Track, and walked along the Clutha River in the sunshine and out of the wind. Some of us had our lunch at a picnic table, while others walked further to the Albert Town Bridge. Just over 12K steps, or 8 K's. +5C.
We got snow overnight, but it didn't settle, which is good because we didn't have to walk in slushy snow.
The first cafe we chose to have a cuppa at was closed, due to an Internet upgrade, and thankfully the second cafe was open. 3 other walkers joined us there, so we had a lovely chat around a cuppa/coffee.
The extras missed the cut. (1) A tunnel along the track and (2) Walking beside the river.
Lovely to sit by the fire to warm up.
