White gold
RSPB Conwy has now reopened, so we are able to return after our failed attempts last week. It’s frighteningly dry - I’ve never seen the lagoons dry up like this. Even the River Conwy seems to have drained away completely - though this is mostly due to the very low tide in the estuary. There are birds far out on the mudflats - too far away to photograph.
But today I catch sight of my beloved Carneddau ponies, grazing behind a meadow of golden flowers, and it’s this that makes my main today.
