Apologies.....

If I had realised that yesterday was a 'milestone' I would have endeavoured to post a more interesting shot.
Anyway - Thank You to everyone who was good enough to stop by and leave comments & likes.

So - today I attempted to make up for yesterdays shocking picture.
The other day Somebody posted a shot of the water mint by their pond and I said that mine wasn't ready to flower ..... well, it is. I was in danger of falling in on top of the Lily getting the close-up.
Something else that has suddenly 'flowered' is the grass/reed.

However, I didn't think any of these were good enough to make up for yesterdays disappointment - so I spent a while lying on the side of the pond getting some close-ups of the pond skaters.
You nearly got the shot of the expired flying insect (which I really liked).

We had a time slot for the gas boiler to be serviced  ..... sometime between midday and 6pm.
At 7.30am SWMBO got a text to say he was on his way.
Twenty minutes later she got another one to say he had been diverted to an emergency.
About 2pm there was another one to say he was back on schedule. His schedule is obviously very fluid.
About 4.50pm he turned up.
He looked at the boiler and said "Oh - You have a new boiler" ........ Errr - No! It has been in about 7 years. "Well - the seals will probably be leaking".
Apparently they were (what a surprise).
They were changed and everything was checked and deemed good.
He handed SWMBO a bit of paper as he left explaining what had been done and that the price was ........ Nil.
