Dappled sunlight

We set off early to have a short walk through the Great woods.  Fortunately  it was cooler under the trees so we managed to walk for a couple of miles before giving up.  The  skeleton in the extra is sad but we didn’t know what it is.  Maybe from a badger - not sure.  The rest of the day has been spent indoors sheltering from the fierce sun.
