Winding Gear

Much of my summer has been given over to thinking about, planning and building this contraption to help wind out rowing boat out of the lake. Getting it in isn't a biggie. The bank is kind of steep, so gravity comes into play. Getting it back out has been the problem.
Not any more. To my mild surprise, after a couple of modifications to the original design the thing works just fine. Today we added a guide and stabilizing wheels to the frame underneath and administered the final blessing!
