Gladioli

A few gladioli have sprouted in one of the flower beds. I think they’re from a box of mixed bulbs I bought for a science experiment at school. I obviously chucked the leftover ones into the garden and hoped for the best. It’s good when that happens.
I really haven’t done much. It’s been very warm so apart from a bit of hoovering and washing I’ve mostly been sitting in the garden with my kindle. Just coming to the end of ‘The Four Winds’ , a highly depressing read about life on The Great Plains in the 1920’s.
