Portmore Loch
I've blipped this view before but it looks different every time. The hills in the distance are the Pentlands, just outside Edinburgh. This is a favourite walk which has a great variety of scenery in around five miles - woodland, the loch, hills and moorland. Today T and I had a lovely time with ideal weather: sunny intervals and a breeze. We saw a (probable) spotted flycatcher for the first time and also various flowers, not all of which we could identify, but they included a fair number of harebells.
We managed to finish the walk in time to catch the Scots Pine tearoom which was a definite bonus.
