Blue skies

It was hot today, but not too hot. I worked on my paper all morning trying to identify the key learning points from my research. Then Sophie appeared early afternoon and we went off for a wild swim in the lake.

We stopped off in the shallows and I looked down to find about twenty fish of various sizes up to about 12cm nibbling my toes.

In the early evening as it cooled down, Juno and I went for a loop of the park. Unlike my afternoon swim when there had only been a handful of swimmers, now the lake was full of swimmers, paddle boarders, kayakers - all very lovely really.
