The ford Mungrisdale Common.

Don't look for it on a map as technically it is on Calbeck Common, which doesn't make sense Mungrisdale is just down the road while Caldbeck is some miles away.  As a result, it is locally called Mungrisdale common.

In the morning I continued massacring cutting the hedge.  I really should make sure I trim it more often.  In the afternoon we had a run out to check a venue for Clickychick to take a client.  Only to find the road closed, good job we checked.  OK plan B of to Mungrisdale.  What greeted us on the road near the village?  You guessed it, a road closed sign.  We needed room to turn round so we drove past the sign, only to find the road wasn't closed but reduced to single lane for about 25 yards.  No sign of any workmen either.
