Penstemon

A long time ago - years, I mean - I bought a pot of penstemon from a nursery in town and was told it would spread itself around. And it has! I have no idea which of the thousands of penstemons it is, but whatever it is, I love that it's now all over the place. I see that some of it was very likely mowed some weeks ago - either that or nibbled on by deer - because it's branched out. Better still! (It's encroaching on bits that The Husband feels should be mowed.)
