Helianthus 'Copper Queen' and more heat

This sunflower was much later than the others to get going but since it has, it's been reaching for the sky at incredible speed!

It's a cultivar I've never grown before called 'Copper Queen', a fiery burnt orange. It's heatwave material (and well-suited to this sustained drought).

Still, even the most summery sunflower needs a bit of rain! And they need quite a lot, even...
