East meets West

Stephen’s quirky tearoom and vintage shop in Callander was highly recommended to us for a quick lunch today so we felt we had to visit.
 
It proved a delightful watering-hole and Freya, our visitor from Inner Mongolia demonstrated the power of her Ali-Baba app (Chinese equivalent to Amazon only better) by pointing her camera at vintage stuff in the shop and was able to identify not only the year it was made but where you could buy similar items. 
Of course we couldn’t leave without a photo of Stephen and Freya. Please note the perfect smiles they both have, helped by a novel piece of Chinese technology.
 
Once we managed to tear ourselves away from this vintage tearoom we headed to loch Katrine and a cruise  on the Lady of the Lake.
