River Test on a hot day

This  afternoon we had a treat of afternoon tea at Bartley Lodge Hotel in the  New Forest. It had been a  present  from friends for Christmas 2020, and somehow we didn't get around to using the voucher last year.            However, we enjoyed our tea today. The last time we had been to the hotel was when the same friends  had their wedding  reception  there, some eight  years ago. You can see the hotel, and how dry its garden is,in the extra  
On our way home we stopped in Romsey, for  a little walk through the town, by the river Test, where it was pleasantly cooler,and is shown in the main blip.
