Morning Coffee

I love to start the day with coffee in bed.

Morning Coffee

I do so love early morning
the sun shining thru’ the velux
and we sit propped up in bed
cradling our coffee mugs
listening to the radio
discussing the day ahead
reading our books or the paper
till it’s time to get up out of bed.

It’s pure therapy
To watch a tiny plant grow
Sadness disperses.
