Juxtaposition for International Day of the Cat

I hadn't known that there was a Cat Day, but since it is today I thought I would post this collage of Minkelina and Sylvie, my old cat and my new one, my old cat and my young cat, my passed-away cat and my living one.

It heated up quickly here today and was an oppressively hot day.  The temperature is supposed to be somewhat cooler tomorrow, thank goodness, and even cooler on Wednesday, when I get to see Gena and Terri for the first time in more than two years.  There's a risk of rain then, but there is a roofed pavilion at the park that should keep us sheltered.  I've missed them so much.
