setting up camp

After an epic pack up which included clearing the kitchen ahead of a wall being removed (to open up cellar staircase and let light down), we made it to Great Langdale. A sunny set-up and the delight of discovering the campsite shop caters for nesh Mums who appreciate a warm pain au chocolat of a morning. God bless the National Trust!

Gratefuls:

1. Excited children;
2. The long and faithful service of our kitchen wall - suddenly felt attached to it in a sort of Shirley Valentine style as we left;
3. The endless beauty of the Lakes.
