Harlequin ladybird
I think that this is a harlequin ladybird. Whatever the variety, it kept me company in the garden this morning while Mr hazelh had another hospital appointment to follow up his recent medical adventure.
The big event of the day has been the arrival of VIP visitors: Mr hazelh's mother and step-father. They are staying with us for a few days after attending their niece's (Mr hazelh's step-cousin's) wedding near Oban on Saturday. My in-laws are very grateful to be in warm and sunny Edinburgh now. They found the weather rather chilly during their weekend in the north west.
This evening we introduced them to Derry girls. Tomorrow we take them to the Fringe.
Exercise today: 2.3 mile run.
