Light Up

The electric man arrived at an unearthly early hour, 08:30, full of the joys of another sunny day whilst I was slumped over my breakfast.  Anyway it was good to see him as we had quite a list of electrical jobs for him to do, including changing all the non-led lights in the house, nineteen I think at the last count, for led lights.

We also had new lights to go in the lounge and all the numerous smoke detectors needed replacing.  There are other jobs on the list too, but they will have to wait until he comes back from his holidays.

We went into town whilst he worked and had a coffee at the Commandery followed by a spot of shopping.

After lunch Sam and Dave arrived to take a look at the house and we spent a nice afternoon sitting on the patio before going for a little walk by the river and round the marina at Diglis Basin (see extra).
