Rowan Berries (Sorbus aucuparia)
Our Rowan Tree looks beautiful at the moment.
According to the Woodland Trust :-
‘Bane of witches, diviner of the future and producer of jam, rowan is an elegant tree with a mystical history. Its leaves and berries are a favourite for wildlife in woods and towns alike’
So other years the birds have stripped the berries off the tree by now,
In fact are the berries late this year? 
Why are they still here?
