practice run

Lay in (after last night's mouse antics) and then Gill and Sandy called round. We had a cuppa and Gill was asking me about insurance. I went to get my bag of files of important documents that had been lying in my room...

As I sat on the sofa, something jumped out the bag. I screamed the house down! It was that fucking mouse! Gill and I were in the hall jumping up and down like nutters. I'm not even really sure why - just the shock, I think, as mice don't particularly scare me. Ah, it was so funny. Couldn't find Mickey in my bag after all that, so he/she must've got away.

Visited Steve on the boat this afternoon. He was pretty busy, so didn't stay long. The canal was looking beautiful.

Did a practice pack of the car. I think I'll fit everything in...
