Holiday - Day Six

A lovely day spent at St Andrews. My dearest went round the shops whilst I sat inside a coffee shop with a rather large coffee and the papers. I must confess to rather enjoying this. After my dearest had returned (and unfortunately discovered that St Andrews had a Ness shop) we went down to the Old Course.

This is looking from the clubhouse down the first fairway and then onto the Old Course Hotel . The people managing the first tee ran it like a military operation making sure that everyone was where they were supposed to be and at the right time.

Oh how I wished it could have been me standing there club in hand.
