The Path to the Mountains

This morning I drove to Waterfall Creek and walked towards Damper Bay.  I didn't get very far as the track was pretty wet, so I turned back, then parked by the lake and walked into town in  the sunshine.  A balmy +6C, but the day started out at -3C, which was very cold indeed.  As I have clocked up 10K steps, I will put my feet up and sip a hot chocolate.
