Bread of life

Yesterday morning M and l went out early to avoid the heat, we went up to the local Greek shop to get a 5 litre can of olive oil before the prices go up again. It is hard not to buy lots of other delicacies on offer at this shop and we staggered home with pots of seafood salad, tzadziki and goats cheese - plus, of course, some fab sesame seed bread (still warm) to slather the cheese on.
Thames Water, London's water supplier, have just announced that a hosepipe ban will come into effect within the next couple of weeks as the drought continues and no rain forecast in the foreseeable future.
