Action Girl

In a spirit of fairness - one of Ariadne in active mode in Rydal Caves.
After a walk around with her dad she made another circuit on her own and managed to stand in water just over the top of her boots ... cue much drying with mini towels and spare socks being found.

Too hot and sunny for anything energetic, we took the bus from Bowness to Rydal and walked up to the caves with a couple of paddling sessions.

Things not to try: buying a bus and parking ticket from Braithwaite Fold car park.  Tim ended up with a three day parking ticket, which costs the same as a 'family' park & ride.  Thankfully, the bus drivers were well aware of the problem and let them travel anyway.
