Feasts!

Lovely friend C and I had a million plans for today and, as usual, we lost track of time chatting away and got to the middle of the morning without having started any of them! So, just to pretend we were in fact doing something, we went for a walk around here to see how this new town has grown since October 2019, which is when she visited last! A stop at the lakes was due and we were surprised to see so many birds: swans, ducks, geese, seagulls, terns and avocets! 

Back home, lunchtime was approaching and I suggested an Italian feast! C was over the moon and so I got out all the goodies that were waiting for a special occasion to be eaten! We had salame toscano, stuffed olives, Parmesan cheese, pecorino and a lovely salad of lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes from the allotment! Yummy! 

Dinner was another feast, with lasagne! LDC’s mum came over to say hello to C and dine with us! Lots of laughter and food were shared! :-)
