Bernard Leach

The beach, pubs and ice cream vans of St Ives are heaving, but the back streets and galleries are quiet. We went shopping. MrHCB bought himself a lovely jug in the New Craftsman Gallery and I bought a sweet bowl from one of the resident artists at the Leach Pottery. They have a wonderful little museum where you can wander round the potting wheels and firing kilns.
