The Survivor

My garden like many others has really suffered in this heat and drought, I have never seen it looking so lacking in flowers and colour. With Jak’s help I was clearing away lots of dead growth when I discovered this little Dianthus ( please correct if I am wrong. ) growing in one of my beds. I don’t  even remember planting it so assume it may have come from a potted plant we bought for indoors. It is quite beautiful and a survivor.
