Reuse - Recycle

This is a building that has been refurbished. Taken over by Terence Conran when it closed in 1985, it is now a restaurant. It was the headquarters of Michelin Tyre Company in the UK. Designed by an employee of the company and supervised by the owners, Edouard and Andre Michelin, it didn't follow any conventional architectural design but has been described as Art Nouveau or 'Proto Art Deco'.
Personally, I think it looks great and is an excellent example of how beautiful and unique buildings can continue to be used instead of knocking them down for rather bland replacements.
