New Hair!

I went to see the folks at the ES coffee meet up - just 4 of us today. I absolutely love meeting up with them, the one woman has lived here 55 years! They're all founts of island knowledge. They're also trying to help me work out how to create a little bit of indoor garden with our limited options. 
This afternoon Nick and Blue came over to give Nate some vintage toy cars and trucks - he was absolutely delighted! Asha and Blue get on like a house on fire and spent the hour and a half falling about laughing hysterically. Absolutely gorgeous to hear. She doesn't have that kind of relationship with many others I don't think, and neither does Blue according to his Dad. 
I took Asha to have her haircut late afternoon - only her second ever professional cut. She loved the head massage bit, sensible girl! She has naturally very wavy hair - anyone got any tips on how to work with it and maximise it?? 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having some wonderful older women in my day to day life here. Seeing them on a Wednesday is the highlight of my week.
2) The loveliness of hearing Asha and Blue falling about laughing.
3) Creating a dinner out of what felt like nothing tonight!
